This chandelier by Casa Padrino follows the classical bag shape known from 19th-century salons. A broad gold-coloured ring with a running laurel rim closes it off at the top; beneath it hang hundreds of drop-shaped crystal pendants in six tiers, tapering downwards to a point.

Unlike angular prisms these pendants are rounded in the cut. They refract the light more softly, without hard colour fringes, giving the whole chandelier a warm, even shimmer instead of a sparkling flicker.

The pendants sit so densely that they form an almost closed curtain from outside. The light sources inside stay hidden and are visible only as a glow between the drops. That makes the chandelier glare-free even when it hangs low above a table.

At 61 cm in diameter it suits a dining table for six, an entrance hall or a large bedroom. The same chandelier is also available in silver, which allows a choice between a warm and a cool tone.
